Considering that narrative-based games can facilitate the communication between players, they can also be used as tools for inclusion. Those games call for the players to access and evoke their personal experiences and their cultural backgrounds, fostering an environment of openness and active communication.

The project will consist of three different parts, during each the young adults will play previously selected games with different groups of people (firstly, their relatives; secondly, among themselves; lastly, with young adults from different backgrounds), and their perceptions of each game – as well as the impacts that the game might have on their perceived communication skills – will be recorded by them, by means of a regularly scheduled report.

This project stems from an already existing partnership between the LINC-Design Laboratory and the NEAM initiative, empowering this bridge between them by working with young adults from NEAM.
